FeatherLite One-Hand Knife
Description:
A.G. s FeatherLite One-Hand Knife was designed, and is built, with simplicity and strength. The handle is one solid piece of black fiberglass reinforced nylon shaped to guard your forefinger from slipping onto the blade and to keep the sharp corner at the back of the blade from wearing a hole in your pocket. The handle is injection molded in Taiwan using the same mold we have used since 1993. That mold was designed by Vaughn Neely. We shipped it from here to Taiwan when the manufacturing process we were using was no longer feasible. This design combined a couple of construction methods that A.G. had developed, or enhanced, in earlier knives. In the 1970s, he and Bill Davis developed linerless folders. These were lockbacks with Micarta handle sides. There were no liners. The Brute was an example. In the 1980s, A.G. popularized a unique front lock in his all steel One-Hand Knife, the K87. In the model K93, he combined these two thoughts , utilizing the lock concept from the K87 and the linerless construction from the Brute. The K93 has been in continous production since 1993 and is still one of our best selling folders. Not at all large and very lightweight. It is engineered to give you the fastest and surest opening knife you can buy. The oval hole in the 3-1 8 hollow ground general purpose blade enables you to easily flip it open with one hand. Available in 8A at 57-59 Rc or VG-10 at 60-61 Rc. Measures just under 4 closed. Weighs 1.5 oz. Made in Taiwan. Option A A.G. Russell FeatherLite One-Hand Knife 8A Item K93-CT8A 34.95
